Nutrition is the foundation of cognitive performance, yet it is often the most neglected aspect of exam preparation. Parents should ensure their children receive adequate protein, healthy fats, and complex carbohydrates throughout the day. Avoid heavy, greasy meals that cause post-lunch drowsiness. Hydration is equally important.

Emotional support is perhaps the most impactful form of parental involvement. The biggest mistake parents make is equating "support" with "pressure." Statements like "you must get a top rank" create anxiety that actively impairs performance. Instead, focus on effort and process.
